What is Bear Blast?

6th Graders: Please arrive ready to begin at 8am. Parents will attend a parent meeting at 8am, while students attend Cub Camp and a Pep Rally. Afterwards, students and parents will reunite to walk their schedules, meet their teachers, and become familiar with the campus. Don't forget to visit the cafeteria to join PTA, purchase '26-'27 spirit wear, and learn about volunteer opportunities!

7th and 8th Graders: This is a "come and go" event. Parents and students arrive to walk their schedules, meet their teachers, and become familiar with the campus. Don't forget to visit the cafeteria to join PTA, purchase '26-'27 spirit wear, and learn about volunteer opportunities!

* Don't forget to drop your "Staff the teacher lounge" donations off in the cafeteria. Thank you!

* In the afternoon, Piccolo snowman will be in the courtyard selling Boba Tea and Italian Ice. 

*Please note, the school is combining Bear Blast and parent orientation this year. There will not be a parent orientation night to meet teachers in September.

DEADLINE TO PURCHASE IS AUGUST 7TH. TICKET PRICES WILL BE $35 CASH AT THE DOOR THE DAY OF THE EVENT.

$25 Pre-Sale Only: Admission includes unlimited bowling, billiards, laser tag, ropes, and $10 arcade card, 2 pieces of pizza and a drink.  

If your student wants extra concessions, please send cash.

Drop off: Parents will park and drop off students in the lobby of Main Event. PTA volunteers will check in each student and make sure they have a ticket. 

Pick up: Please come inside to pickup your student at 1PM. If your student is not picked up by 1:10PM there will be no PTA members/volunteer on the premises to supervise them.

*This venue will be open to the public during our event, students will be chaperoned.

*NO refunds or exchanges for any reason. If your child cannot attend it will be considered a donation. 

 *When you buy your ticket, you are giving permission for your child to attend.

Attention Parents!

We are excited to announce that we will be using Membership Toolkit for our Directory, Online Sales, Volunteer Sign Ups and Communications starting with the 2026-2027 school year.  

We invite you to visit www.bdjhpta.org to see everything your PTA has to offer this year. Once you create a Membership Toolkit Account, you will have access to upcoming calendar events, make purchases, sign up to volunteer and much, much more.  

Here's what you need to do: 

• Go to www.bdjhpta.org.
• Click on the Register/Login button.
• If you already have an account with another organization that uses Membership Toolkit you can use the same email and password to login. You can then proceed to the numbered steps below.
• Select "Create Account" and fill in the name, email, and password information.
• Click "verify my email" and then check your email for a link to complete the process. The link expires in 2 hours. If you do not receive the email, check your spam or junk folders.
• Once you have verified your email address, log back in and finish the registration process. 

1. Complete the Parent/Family and Student Information.
2. Complete the Directory/Publish Preferences.
3. Once these forms are complete, you will be presented with forms for PTA Membership, Spirit Wear, and Volunteer Opportunities. All of your Back-to-School needs in one convenient place! 

Once the Primary Account is set up, the Primary User can "invite" other email addresses to access his/her account. This allows the Secondary User to have their own login information, but still have access to the family account.
