We are looking forward to a great 8th grade year at BDJH. We have some memorable activities planned to celebrate the Class of 2013’s final year. Below is a list of the 8th grade activities and events we have scheduled for the 2012 - 2013 school year. 

8th Grade T-Shirt Sales - August & September 2012 - Please find your order form in this packet. September 14, 2012 will be the last day to place your t-shirt order, so get them in now! 

Carnation Sales - February 2013 - Carnations will be sold during lunch from Wednesday, February 6, through Tuesday, February 12, 2013. They will be delivered during advisory on Thursday, February 14, 2013. 

Fun Food Day - Friday, March 1, 2013 - “Fun Food” will be sold during lunch on Friday, March 1. We will be collecting candy, soda and other fun food items from our 8th grade parents. We will need several volunteers on Friday to help sell these goodies and pizza to our students.

Career Day - Spring 2013 - A variety of professionals will be available to our 8th grade students to share their career experiences. These professionals will make a short presentation and answer questions as the students visit a number of the career stations. We welcome parents to volunteer and share their professional stories with our students.

8th Grade Dance - May 10, 2013 - Both fundraising and donations will be needed to help support this event, along with lots of volunteers. We want the kids to have a great party for the end of their 8th grade year.
